1. General Conditions of Use
Entry to Tactixs and participation in activities is subject to these Terms & Conditions, all safety notices, and instructions given by staff.
Tactixs reserves the right to refuse admission, remove participants, or cancel bookings at its sole discretion, without refund, in cases of rule violations, safety concerns, or disruptive behaviour.
Tactixs may amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of the updated terms.
2. Supervision & Responsibility
Children under 16 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult (18+) at all times.
Adults remain responsible for the behaviour and safety of minors in their care.
All accidents, incidents, or injuries must be reported to a staff member immediately, at the time they occur. Incidents not reported on-site cannot be investigated or acted upon afterwards.
Any equipment issues or hazards must be reported to staff without delay.
3. Age Restrictions
Real Axe Throwing: Minimum age 16.
16–17 year-olds may participate only with a supervising adult (18+) present for the entire session.
A participating parent or legal guardian must complete the waiver for anyone under 18 before arrival.
Photo ID may be required to verify age and eligibility.
Velcro Axe Throwing (Family Activity): Suitable for ages 3+.
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
No waiver is required for children under 16 using the velcro axe throwing setup, but normal admission terms still apply.
4. Use of Premises & Equipment
No outside food or drink is permitted unless expressly agreed (e.g. a booked celebration room).
Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited while using any Tactixs equipment.
Participants must follow all posted house rules and staff instructions at all times.
5. Safety & Attire
Appropriate closed, non-slip footwear must be worn at all times.
Socks, bare feet, open-toed shoes, heels, or slippers are not permitted.
Loose clothing, jewellery, and personal items that may pose a safety risk must be removed before taking part. Tactixs accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen items.
6. Health & Fitness Obligations
Participants must be in a suitable state of health to use Tactixs facilities.
Pregnant individuals or those with medical conditions (e.g. heart, back, neck, or joint problems) should consult a doctor before taking part.
Anyone suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused entry without refund.
All users must follow safety briefings and participate responsibly within their physical capabilities.
7. Admission & Identification
Your booking reference is your proof of purchase and must be presented on arrival.
It is compulsory to show booking confirmation for admission to Tactixs, whether for general entry, parties, lessons, or events.
Proof provided on a smartphone or other device will be accepted, but it is your responsibility to ensure the device is charged and the details are visible.
Failure or refusal to provide proof of booking will result in denied entry.
All customers must complete their booking order and waiver for every member of their party before arrival. Entry may be refused if waivers are incomplete.
During public, bank, and school holiday periods, Tactixs operates a Peak Pricing Policy. Prices may be higher at these times and will be applied automatically when booking.
8. Bookings, Payments & Refunds
All bookings are non-refundable, except where Tactixs cancels the session and no alternative arrangements can be offered.
Requests to transfer or reschedule a booking must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Tactixs will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes, but rescheduling is not guaranteed.
Requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice are unlikely to be accommodated and will normally result in the booking being forfeited.
Late arrivals may not be admitted and no refunds or reschedules will be provided. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your session.
No-shows will be treated as cancellations with no entitlement to refund or credit.
Tactixs reserves the right to cancel bookings due to operational, safety, or payment issues.
9. Promotions, Vouchers & Offers
Promotional codes and vouchers hold no cash value and cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated.
Standard vouchers are valid for 6 months from purchase.
Expired vouchers will not be accepted unless expressly agreed by Tactixs.
Vouchers that remain unused cannot be exchanged for cash or extended beyond their validity.
10. Behaviour & Conduct
Aggressive behaviour, foul language, abusive conduct, or misuse of equipment will result in removal without refund.
Smoking, vaping, or the use of alcohol and drugs is strictly prohibited within the premises.
Deliberate damage to equipment, facilities, or property may result in charges for repair/replacement and possible legal action.
Failure to comply with the above will result in removal from the premises immediately, with no entitlement to refund or reschedule.
11. Liability & Risk Acknowledgement
Participation in activities at Tactixs is at your own risk.
By booking, you acknowledge that activities carry inherent risks of injury.
Tactixs is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or losses arising from misuse of equipment, failure to follow rules, or personal negligence.
Tactixs is only liable for injury or loss directly caused by its proven negligence.
Participants may be required to sign a waiver before taking part in certain activities. Refusal to sign will result in denied entry without refund.
12. Assumption of Risk
By booking and participating in activities, you acknowledge that activities carry inherent risks, including personal injury, property damage, or, in rare cases, serious injury or death.
You confirm that you (and any minors under your supervision) understand these risks and are physically and mentally fit to participate.
Tactixs provides safety inductions, and signage outlining activity-specific risks. By entering, you confirm that you have read, watched, and understood these materials.
You agree to participate responsibly, follow all safety instructions, and accept the risks involved.
13. Media & Photography
By entering Tactixs, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded by staff or authorised contractors.
You grant Tactixs full permission to use such media for any lawful purpose, including advertising, publicity, promotional materials, website, and social media, in any format or medium.
You waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product and acknowledge no rights to royalties, compensation, or other payments arising from the use of such media.
If you do not wish to be included, you must inform a staff member in writing before participating. Tactixs will make reasonable efforts to honour such requests but cannot guarantee full exclusion from background or crowd footage.
Guests may take personal photos or videos provided they do not disrupt activities, compromise safety, or infringe on the privacy of others.
14. Online Retail & Website Use
A. Ordering & Acceptance of Orders
When placing an order online or by phone, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete.
You will receive an acknowledgement email with an Order ID. This acknowledgement is not acceptance of your order; it confirms receipt only.
By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase services. Tactixs reserves the right to accept or decline at its discretion.
An order is only confirmed once payment has been processed and you receive a confirmation email.
B. Pricing & Payment
All prices are correct at the time of publication.
Your debit/credit card will be charged at the time of purchase.
If an error is found in the listed price, Tactixs will notify you. We are under no obligation to honour incorrect prices and reserve the right to cancel affected orders. You may then reconfirm at the correct price or receive a refund.
C. Accuracy of Information
We make every effort to ensure descriptions, photographs, and details of services are accurate.
Errors, omissions, or variations may occur. Tactixs is not liable for minor inaccuracies.
